FAQ-Air Duct Cleaning Dryer Vent Cleaning
AIR DUCT CLEANING
1. How do you clean my duct work?
A: We use equipment called ROTOBRUSH. Various sized brushes are rotated thru each
of your lines loosening dust, dirt and mold while a powerful vacuum sucks all of it into a
HEPA filtered container which will be carried off and emptied.
2. Does this harm my duct work?
A: No. While yesteryear technology required cutting holes in the duct work and later
patching them, the modern approach is thru the existing vent opening.
3. How can you deal with mold in my system?
A: After your duct work has been cleaned, using a fogging machine, we introduce an
anti-microbial mist which goes thruout the entire system. The fogging agent I non-
allergenic and had no odor. It seeks out and destroys the mold.
4. How long does the whole process take?
A: In a typical house with one HVAC system it will take between 3 and 4 hours.
5. What do you charge for duct cleaning?
A: We charge $35.00 for each vent (where the heated or air conditioned air enters a
room) and $45.00 for the return (where the filter goes). The anti-microbial fogging is
included in this pricing. There are no hidden fees for “set-up” and etc.
DRYER VENT CLEANING
1. Why should my dryer vent need cleaning?
A: Even though your dryer has a removable filter and you clean it after every load of
clothes, after time lint and dust builds in the vent line and can greatly reduce the
efficiency of the dryer. In rare instances the heat from the dryer can cause this build-up
2. How is the dryer vent line cleaned?
A: Using specially sized brushes attached to a flexible cable, the brush is introduced into
the vent line at the exit hole, typically on the outside of your house. The brush then
rotates breaking up the pockets of debris that are clogging the vent line. This debris can
then be removed using the high speed brush.
3. What do you charge for dryer vent cleaning?
A: If the exit for the vent line is on an outside wall at ground level the charge is $95.00.
If the exit for the vent line requires the use of a ladder the charge is $125.00. A roof-top
exit of the vent line must be used the charge is $150.00. If the dryer vent cleaning is
done at the time the air ducts are cleaned subtract $50.00 from the charges above.
